How are you reducing your business’ environmental and social impact?

I use recycled metals, Fairtrade metals, recycled and recyclable packaging (no plastic) … I even reuse jiffy bags to post your items. I source all my gemstones from ethical sources, and use found objects like sea glass and pebbles. I source my electricity from an eco only supplier and continually aim to eliminate harmful chemicals from the making process.

How should I care for my jewellery?

To avoid your jewellery tarnishing, wear it! However, it’s best to avoid spraying it with hairspray, perfume, etc. or applying hand lotion or sanitiser while wearing rings (just pop them back on once your hands are dry). Silver and gold jewellery, although tough, will still get damages if you wear it do to heavy manual work or exercise (think weight lifting in rings). Different gemstones have different properties and hardness (measured on the Mohs scale); care instructions for the specific gemstones will be included in your order.

If your jewellery becomes tarnished gently clean it with a mild dish soap, warm water and a soft cloth. Polishing clothes are also a great option too.
