The texture on this brooch is phenomenal! It was created by hitting a molten piece of silver with a steel block. The result is this organic shape, which is reminiscent of France or a maple leaf. The stone is a carnelian set in a silver bezel, which is half over the edge of the brooch, which gives it a more asymmetrical look.
